Find a Vision Care Provider

Cornell offers optional vision insurance to eligible students and their enrolled dependents. The provider search process depends on your campus.
 

Ithaca, Cornell Tech, Geneva and Weill Cornell Medicine Students


The Cornell Student Vision Plan is provided through MetLife Vision.

To find a participating vision care provider:

  1. Visit MetLife’s VSP Choice provider search.
  2. Search by location, provider name, or specialty.
  3. Contact the provider before scheduling to confirm that they participate in Cornell’s Student Vision Plan.


Before Your Appointment


Before receiving care, ask the provider to confirm:

  • The provider participates in Cornell’s Student Vision Plan.
  • Your exam, lenses, frames, or contact lenses are covered.
  • Any copays or other out-of-pocket costs that may apply.
