SHP Costs & Dates (2026-27)
This page provides 2026-27 SHP cost, billing, and coverage date information for students, dependents, and continuation coverage. It also includes information about financial aid and health-related costs, including how SHP may be considered in financial aid planning.
SHP Student Costs, Dates & Billing
SHP insurance costs $4,092 for 12 months of coverage. Although that averages $341 per month, SHP is not billed monthly. Instead, the cost is billed by term, with the total amount for each term based on your coverage dates.

Financial Aid & Health-Related Costs
SHP enrollees may request a loan for the SHP premium. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment for more information.

SHP Dependent Costs, Dates & Billing
Dependent coverage is paid by credit card, debit card, or ACH transfer and cannot be bursar billed.
