Other Ithaca-area providers:
If you need to see a specialist or another provider in the Ithaca area, use Aetna's DocFind to search for participating providers (include the zip code of the area where services will be received, and select "Student Health Plans" as the health plan type). Typically, there is a $25 copay for medical visits and a $10 copay for mental health visits. SHP also provides coverage for non-participating providers, usually with a $400 plan year deductible and then a 30% co-insurance.
Cornell Health staff can also help refer
you to other providers in the community, although referrals are NOT
necessary to use your SHP benefits. Call 607 255-5155 during business
hours and ask to speak with a staff person who can give you a referral.
